THIS happened on Sunday….

These are 2 of my friends and we’ve been sneaking in workouts and better nutrition for the last couple of months to CRUSH the goal of a mini triathlon relay…and we DID IT! This has been a long-term dream for the lady in blue and it was amazing to be part of seeing it come to life. None of us had ever done a tri so we were the newbies asking tons of questions during check-in and getting butterflies in our stomachs before each leg of the race, but we finished in under 2 hours, learned a ton and are dreaming of trying it again next year! If you happen to live in the Eastern Iowa region you should check out the Manchester Hero Hustle. It was a great race and raises money for the local heroes…those brave firemen and emergency crews who protect the rest of us!

Ok, it’s YOUR turn! What dream have you been putting off? Maybe you’ve never even told anyone because you thought it sounded crazy or worried that someone might laugh at you. Guess what, we got some of those responses when our committed to doing this race. Guess we proved them wrong. 🙂 You can too!

Registration is OPEN this week for 2 groups that will start SEPTEMBER 1st!

  • #1 Year-long 1-on-1, online nutrition coaching. No white-knuckling, no crazy fads. Just tried and true (scientifically proven) habits that will serve us for a lifetime. Want more info? Checkout last week’s post or contact me . I’d LOVE to talk to you!
  • #2 3 Month Goal WorkShop. Again, no white-knuckling and the same basic habits, but in more of a group setting and just for 3 months. We’ll focus on 1, personal goal. Maybe it’s a race…or consistent meal planning…or swapping some of your normal processed foods for whole-foods…or….the sky’s the limit! Want more info? Check out this post or contact me. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
THIS feels good!
