According the the CDC, only 1 in 10 Americans is eating the recommended amount of fruits and vegetables each day (5 servings). But we’re probably doing better at eating fruit than veggies, right? Ummm…nope. Only 12% of adults even eat 1-2 servings of fruit each day. Why does it matter so much? Because 7 out of the top 10 causes of death in the US are from chronic disease, which can be significantly reduced just by eating produce. Ouch.

If you struggle to get fruits and veggies into your regular meals you aren’t alone…by a long shot! But it’s not as hard as you might think. And it’s DELICIOUS. I have an amazing group of women who will be encouraging each other as we eat 146 servings of produce in the month of July. No calorie counting, weird ingredients or meal plans. We’re eating normal food, sharing recipes that our families enjoy eating with an emphasis on fast/easy meals that keep us out of the kitchen! And it’s FREE. No strings attached. I love doing these groups because we all learn something new and it’s easier to stay motivated when you know you’re part of a group.

If you want to join, just comment here on Facebook or email me at kim@thrivenutrition.life and I’ll get you into our private FB group! Forms to help you keep track of your July servings are already posted there. 🙂
