It’s time to enjoy summer…far away from the stove and oven. But our families still want to eat (and occasionally, we do too). 🙂 Here is some simple yumminess to feed the crowd and avoid hours in the kitchen:
- When in doubt, just buy fresh and chop it up! EVERYTHING delicious is in season right now. Buy a bag of grapes, a watermelon and some berries and you have everything you need for a huge fruit salad. Want to make it even easier? Slice the melon and wash the fruit and serve as-is.

- Hot dogs…they’re going to be everywhere. If the ingredient list makes you a little queasy you can find Aidell’s sausages in most large grocery stores. They’re delicious and have recognizable ingredients. https://www.aidells.com/products
- Greek Yogurt Parfaits…they look fancy, but they only take a few minutes to pop together. http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/greek-yogurt-with-warm-black-blueberry-sauce
- Deviled Eggs. I don’t think I’ve ever had leftovers from this. https://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/deviled_eggs/
- Greek Salad Skewers. Absolutely no cooking. 🙂 https://www.delish.com/cooking/recipe-ideas/recipes/a52183/greek-salad-skewers-recipe/
Enjoy!
