My 1-on-1 clients have had so many awesome successes and ‘Aha!’ moments recently that I’m breaking this post into 2 parts! Good job, ladies! 🙂
“[My daughter] is definitely in a different developmental stage, but she still doesn’t sleep all night. And schedules have been crazy so I have only been getting [exercise] in a few times a week but I am still trending down weight wise. I was 131 and I am down to 124 so I feel like I’m making progress:)”
Ummm…YES! I wish I could tell you how crazy Lindsey’s schedule has been over the past 3 months, but she kept pushing forward in whatever small ways she could each day. THIS is the power of consistent, small steps. 🙂
‘…my running partner and I made a huge victory on Monday.. our celebrations were doing our running workout in 28 degree weather, not letting the cold stop us. It wasn’t that bad once we got moving. And we walked 5 min, stretched, jogged 2 min walked 5 min, jogged 2min (we’ve never done this before) walked 5 min and then did a cool down for 10 min, because i locked my keys in the truck lol and i was waiting for my husband to bring a set a keys to rescue me from the cold, lol. ‘
Hillary is working on a Couch 2 5K program with a running buddy she found when she stepped out of her comfort zone and publicly asked for help with her goals. She’s developing new friendships, building accountability and continually amazes me with her positive attitude even when life doesn’t go smoothly!
This is what Progress, Not Perfection looks like. These ladies have had rough days, but they got back up and tried again instead of falling into old habits. I couldn’t be more proud of them!
