What is the scariest part of making a choice to be healthier?

‘My family will make fun of my choices.’

‘I’ll miss out on all the food I love. It’ll be horrible.’

‘I’ll be hungry all.the.time.’

Those are all common responses, but by far the #1 response I get to that question is…

I’m afraid I’ll fail. What if I really just can’t do this?’

This is the response I’ve received from women who have gone on to lose weight, reverse painful medical conditions, influence their families to make better choices and came to the realization that they have more control over how their bodies work than they ever dreamed!

They were each afraid to fail…just like you. Just like me. No matter where we are in our health journey, most of us are afraid that maybe we aren’t able to take that next step. What if other people find out we committed to something and then didn’t follow through? Worse yet, what if we really try and STILL can’t succeed. Again. Where do we go from there?

So most of us choose not to try. You can’t fail if you don’t try, right? The ironic part of this is that if we never try, we guarantee that we fail.

Action arrests fear.

So what secret did those clients figure out that lead to success?

They took the scary step.

They weren’t 100% sure what it would look like, but they were willing to try and they asked for help. One day at a time, once choice at a time, they’re changing their lives.

If you realize that you’re ready to take the scary step and reach for a healthier life I’d love to talk to you! I promise you, you CAN make healthy choices and the hardest step is the first one. Once you’ve asked for help you’re part of a team and we can do this together. 🙂 Click on the link below to apply for 1 of my 2 open spots or to ask for more info…
