THAT Mom gets up and plays with her kids at the park.
THAT Mom is able to run around the yard for a game of kick ball.
THAT Mom is up for a bike ride or a hike at the state park.
THAT Mom will wear a swimsuit and get in the pool with her family.
THAT Mom can do all of these things because she takes care of herself. She’s been up late with a baby or teenager, she’s time crunched between work/kids events/chores and she’s just as tempted to go through the drive-thru as the rest of us, but she makes her health a priority. She doesn’t always feel like it, but she enjoys the energy and strength she receives in return for her effort.
You know what else THAT Mom does? She doesn’t go it alone. She has a tribe of people and resources who encourage her. She has friends and family who know her goals (even if they don’t share them), she joins groups at her local gym and on Facebook with similar goals, she subscribes to magazines and blogs that motivate her to make healthy choices and she seeks out mentors/coaches when she gets stuck. She also realizes no one is THAT Mom all the time…and that’s OK. 🙂
Some of THOSE Moms are part of this group and they’d like to invite you to join them from April 2-15th for a FREE Spring Cleaning Challenge For Your Health. If you’re interested in joining (or just have questions) click on the link below and I’ll be in touch with you soon!
